When it's absolutely too cold

Day 31 - Went to Cypress to escape the Vancouver fog. Fun bluebird morning "sightseeing" with Doug and LeopardSkin. Surprisingly good conditions as sun softened the snow.

Day 32 - Yet another glorious bluebird day cruising with Francis and LeopardSkin ... escaping the city fog. Excellent spring like conditions especially down Humpty Dumpty for cranking tight turns.

Is it just me, or has January been subpar with snow quality? End of December was superb and then .... well. Going out to the interior and Whistler in February. Hope snow is better. Early December in Whistler wasn't that great either. Maybe I am just getting spoiled. Now looking into split board and back country for the future.

I've heard it called cross under. It's used in skiing too.

Day 35 - Headed up to Cypress with low expectations of hard pack. Instead was threated with nice groomer that quickly crumbled into chunky snow. Fun riding with Brian C and his friend.

Twice tried euro carving until Panorama got too chunky ... a lot harder than I expected. Tony - I'll need some tips from you.
