When it's absolutely too cold

Day 26 - Caught in the act on Eagle webcam. LeopardSkin and I enjoyed hero groomers with a dusting of fresh. Perfect for skiing and snowboarding.

Hilarious ... that is Tony and I giving Jerry (who is watching the Eagle webcam) the middle finger.

Really good night at cypress, dumping snow the whole time I was there 3:30-6:30. Too busy by 6:30 so I called it a night.

Day 27 - Disappointed not to find any pow but groomers were excellent. Snowboarded only on Crazy Raven to maximize my runs. Great to see all the usual suspects on this warm sunny day.

Im guessing the answer is no, but I'll ask anyways. If you buy the 2021/2022 silver pass, can you ride right now for the rest of this season?

I don't think so this year. Because of COVID and too many people, Cypress and Seymour have removed this feature for now.

Is the Silver pass worth it if a person can only ski weekends in January and February? Is the night skiing there worth it, or is it more of a novelty? I’ve only night skies there once and that was a long time ago. The post-rush hour drive there after a long days work hasn’t really appealed to me in the past but maybe it’s not too bad.

Silver pass excludes weekends in January and February. You need the Silver eXtra pass, which is sold out.

Cypress review. Day was partly sunny. Soft packed snow. They had a blue plate special. Ribs and fries, special sauce. Better than poutine.

Then a couple of more laps post-lunch.

What a good way to end the week!
