Is Cypress Mountain really going to be open this season? The COVID cases are going up and I am concerned that they will close. Thoughts?

My family has season passes to Cypress and been thinking of taking up the offer to defer the passes to next season. First they could close midway and were are out of luck or they could implement some reservation system to limit the number as whistler is doing. Weekdays should not be bad but I see the weekends being difficult to get a reservation. I have phoned the mountain but they still don't know what their exact Covid measures are going to be. They told me that these measures will be in place by Nov 8. I will wait to make my decision until then. You have until Nov 15 to post pone your pass until next year.

Thanks for the info. I didn't know postponing was an option. Hmmmm

Cypress protocol for the season is out. Doesn’t seem too bad if you have a season pass.

What happens if BC shuts down the operations for season pass holders that didn't opt to next year?
