Wind forecast is looking good. Hopefully it delivers for both the islanders and the mainlanders.

Looks promising for a foiling the easterly at Jericho.

Mike wrote:Hope it picks up folks. For me, beiginning of last year right elbow issue (tennis elbow). Got more usable in summer but then left elbow issue! (golfers elbow). I don't golf or play tennis!! Anyways, it is improving and hope to start short sessions first and soon. Ironically windsurf may be better first even though more muscle involved. The short kite bar puts more twist on the elbow. So need more wind for the early attempts. Missing the wind chase..

Mike, today could be a good day to hit Jericho with your foil gear. Flat water, not too much pull on the sail.

Thanks for the heads up Doug. Tony mentioned this message when we were at Cypress... Yep, I'm keen to get back to test things. I can still get soreness with general exercise but need to know how it is with windsurfing. Abit cold today so that helps me miss water sessions :)

Great session at Jericho. Kitefoil in 25-14kn wind on 5m. Was first on a water , joined later with wind/wing foilers.

Myself, Igor, Lubo and Vic. Adam got a short session on his wing with new board and foil, gotta love new gear.

We all started rigging when we arrived and it was 25kn. 15 min later we all re rigged bigger. I went with 5.2 and 720 front wing. In hindsight the 900 front wing would have been better. Got maybe 1.5hrs on the water. I felt good temp wise, hands were fine with open palm mitts but totally chilled down once finished. Three of us had problems disconnecting our mast bases with our hands in the water, that was the worst part of the day in terms of temp. Overall very good. Would do again.

quick session for me at CB with both kite and windsurf. too cold so the hot tub afterwards could never have felt better.
