Squamish 2021
Waited for 8m conditions ... when it arrived it was full of holes. Another half hour then it was finally steady enough. Scored 1.5 hrs in SW 20 gusting 24 on 8m+surfboard. Fun riding clean swell in the river mouth. Great way to start the week

Sweet 2hr session at the Spit in steady SW 20-22. 12m was fully depowered so quickly switched to 8m+surfboard. Fun riding small smooth swell toeside. No problem pinching upwind into the blue water.

Another 2 hrs in SW 16-18 on 12m+surfboard. Smooth swell upwind in the blue water. Could've been on my 8m but didn't want to waste time with the late start at 3pm.

Another sweet 1.5 hrs on 12m+surfboard in steady SW 16-18. Too optimistic on my 8m+surfboard ... good for 4 reaches before it tanked.

Enjoyed my last (very likely) Squamish session (2 hrs) on 8m+surfboard in steady SW 18-22 with smooth swell upwind in the blue water. Great way to end it

Major orca action today. I came to a screeching halt as, I’m assuming, a mother and child breached right in front of me. I could have touched it I was so close. Did a rapid 180 and got the f out of there. Crazy.

Starting at noon scored 3 hrs on 12m+surfboard in SW 16-20 with a couple of lulls. Good turnout by Squamish locals. Great way to end the week.

Beautiful afternoon at the spit. About 7 kiters and one late arrival winger. Light but super steady. Scored a little over 2 hours on my 12 m and tt of course.

Good catch. After Tuesday's 5m wave session, I kinda lost my appetite for Squamish.
Instead I have my eye on more wave sessions this (Saturday) afternoon and Sunday morning ... fingers crossed.
