Another beautiful day in paradise. 15 knots ne snowpack and snowing. Parking full. Good luck getting here

Great wind today finaly had luck. Was on 5m couldn't jump too much but was going fast. My GPS showed over 200km on skis for a whole day from 10am till 3pm. Probably around 30 kiters and 5 wings.

Scored first tracks at Green Lake. Had to wait patiently for the sky to clear and enough wind to hot launch. Marginal N 8-12 knots so had to work for my rides ... almost 1 hr on 12m + snowboard. Ended up downwind but it was worth it to ride untracked layer of fresh.
Small turn out (8 kiters + 1 winger). Dmitri was killing it on his 9m + skis.

Planing to go winging and kiting tomorrow, hesitating between green lake and Alta lake. What’s the best call? Are both places safe? Thanks!

Never been to Alta Lake. Green Lake is safe. Way down wind at the SW end is a pond so I assume the ice is thin there.
If possible, try to reverse park at the Green Lake pull out / bus stop so you have best visibility of highway traffic when leaving.

Neither Howe Sound nor WindGuru forecasts look promising.
Maybe skiing and snowboarding are better options today

Yeah, no wind day. But still very sore from skiing Sunday. Thanks for the advice about the spot!

Thinking of coming up to Green Lake for some snow kiting. Have never snow kited before and am not sure where Green Lake is. Any info would be extremely helpful. Thanks.
