Balmy 10°C session in the middle of winter. Steady SSE 20-25 with amazing waves in the morning becoming disorganized by 2pm. Started with 5m then 8m + surfboard. 4 kiters, 2 wingers and at least 1 windsurfer.

Fits and starts. Arrived to solid wind but it unraveled as Tsawwassen and I were rigging. Seems the wind went just past south to SSW and got punchy. We launched about the same time and then Tsawwassen sailed his wing over the horizon while I wallowed close to shore. There was a lot of bobbing around (for me). A few smiles when the wind turned on in pulses. Fun banked outside gybes and one solid jump made the session worthwhile! Air temp was pleasant. Water was warmer than expected. Wind swell was organized on the inside but pretty confused in some spots further out. Funny how frustrating wind sports are when there isn't enough wind and how much fun they are when there is.
