CB 4 windsurfers out and I’m slugging. Wind a little light— days like today I wish I had my big 8m kite

A few people made it out at Boundary Bay this morning but it looked pretty light. They weren’t out long. Yesterday was the day. Good on you Michael.

CB — picked up pretty good. A much needed session. A handful of windsurfers/wingers showed up.

Wind was great here in La Ventana on Saturday. We had a 4-day El Norte. Excellent 4.0 conditions with huge swell and about 25c air temp. Today (Sunday) was our first light-wind day after 8 good days, with just enough for some foiling on a 5.9 m sail; it’s gonna be really tough getting into winter sailing when we get back home, and almost as hard to leave here on Tuesday.

Sounds like you had a great time! The last time I was out here it was so cold I was cursing every time I fell in. I think you should stay a few more months!

Yup, Michael, I wish we could have stayed.
Got home last night from an excellent La Ventana trip. 10 days straight on the water, beginning with 4 days of 5.4/4.7 conditions; followed by 4 great El Norte 4.2/4.0 days, and wrapping up with a couple of lighter days to practice foiling. Hot and sunny with really warm water too. Back to reality now, darn it.
