A handful of windsurfers and a handful of kiters. No wingers! On my 4.5 m^2 75 L quad board. Oh boy was it a lot of hard work to get out of these 3-5 feet waves when the wind is light or what. The other guys are on a floaty board so I figured that helps to slug out. I’m just glad my mast and boom are still unbroken

All right round 2 was better. Wind picked up to 25 knots and tide dropped a bit that made going out more manageable for newbies like me. Overall stoked having came back again here after 3 years.

This weekend is looking like the typical 25 + knots NW wind for both Sat + Sun at the Rock (a.k.a Pistol River)
