Does anyone know the purpose of the two orange shipping containers at spit?

From SWS Facebook page: "We have some new seacans for next year. They aren't in the final position yet but we plan on making them into something cool for next season!"

They are intended for kite / gear storage. With the proposed removal the idea is that people can leave their gear there for convenience. AT A PRICE.
