I damaged my board this year in the Hood River.

What is the best way to repair the left / rear side of this board? Thanks.

If you have some time follow something like:

https://boardlady.com/repairbasics.htm

I've done all her repairs and they hold up very well.

If you have no time, sand away the loose stuff and make the remaining surface rough, get some Marinetex, squeegee it on, wait a day, and then sand. 100, that's usually good enough for me these days.

Thank you. Totally forgot about the boardlady tutorials. I have a few projects to complete this winter and just wondering where you guys buy carbon, glass and epoxy materials.

Fiber Tech on Boundary is good. They sell west systems with pumps so you don't need to measure.

Great. Going to pick up some supplies and do some box refitting and repairs during December. Looks like the store has everything that is needed. Thanks again guys.

If mixing small batches (less than a full pump which is a LOT) absolutely buy a scale and mix by weight. The accuracy is much higher and you can be more precise on quantity.
I'm guessing that repair only needs ~15g of epoxy per layer of glass of less, a full pump of West is something like 50g (I stopped pumping a long time ago and went to a surf epoxy).

Thanks. Got small cups for mixing and pump for larger projects. We will see how it turns out. If successful, will do some box conversion and use some cloth on a square drop trailer build. Too many projects right now and no time.
