Wow that's close! I've had a few close encounters with grey whales this year but a killer whale would make me nervous. It's an awesome feeling being around those big mammals though, we live in an amazing place.

I don’t know who was on the green kite but I was the first, I think, to see, actually nearly HIT them. As I was headed for the rock face they breached right in front of me. Had to slam on the brakes not to run into them. Could have stroked the first one I was so close. Scared the crap out of me tbh. Got the f out ASAP. I’m not much bigger than a seal !
