Things are picking up out here. Windguru has downgraded a bit but it's still showing wind most of the day.

I was just watching the webcam set to the mile marker and I saw a big whale spout. Looks like they are still around!

Interesting parallel between CB and CB. Also windy at Columbia beach no one out here but I’ll give it out a try

Overcast with occasional rain here with approximately 15 to18 knots SE

No whales and I don’t see any seals orgies either. Thank god don’t want to be disturbing their stuff

I was thinking about heading out but gloomy rainy 11 knots isn’t doing a great job enticing me.

Wow more than what I anticipated. Must be gusting to 30 knots and wind try to lift my skinny ass off the water with 8m kite. Where’s my 3.1 m sail + 68 L when I need it? What is it doing in Squamish?

Oh well tide is coming back up now and self launch on high tide is quite a trick. Good enough for my first day back at CB and get a good orientation

This morning I saw windfoiler 6am on cam at Jericho . Then I checked at 7am he still was foiling and wind was stable 12kn. Decided to join on kitefoil. It was Adam windfoiling fully powered.
I was overpowered from time to time on 9m. Joined later by wingfoiler and other kitefoiler Phil. At the end rain started wind went up and completely died. I was way out, after 30min swim Jericho rescued me. Thanks to the rescue team, they saved me another 2h swim.

Oh no. Well you were absolutely ripping when I saw you. It takes a brave soul to kitefoil an easterly. It sure was good when it was on. I came to shore a couple minutes before the cloudburst that seemed to kill the wind. I am glad to hear it worked out for you.

With low expectations tried 3rd Avenue early afternoon on 12m+surfboard in SSE 12-16. After riding puffs for 1 hr, I ended up with a long walk from the end of Centennial.

Just as I was packing up the wind returned at 2:30pm so had to re-pump and re-rig ... but it was worth it. 2.5 hrs wave session in classic SE 18-20 lit on 12m+surfboard. Fun waist high wave rides.

What a great way to end the week! :D
