Windfoil setup for a beginner

Windsurfing shop talk

I have a friend that has talked about getting into kiteboarding for a while and I may have convinced him to try wingfoiling instead.

Is there a suggested package or specific gear selection that he should price out? I think he is 75-80 kg, so I guess a 120-130L board is good. He would ideally learn in 15-18knots but realistically it might be a lot Squamish with 22 knots. I have no idea what wing that corresponds to. I’d guess a 1500 front wing would be good. Availability is a whole other issue.
Cheers

Beginner 20-30 liter over body weight in kg. After about 10 times he can go down to zero / plus 10. Then even further down in the future. Can't beat the pricing on the HG 84/48 with 71cm mast with pedestal. If interested in a brand new 84/48, let me know. I have access to a brand new set at 25% off Silent Sports price (tax/shipping included).
