That was fun! Winging in the waves is what it's all about. I was getting a bit frustrated the other day out at the Ferry Terminal but after hooking into my first wave today things were all good again! Once you're catching some rides who cares if you can jibe!
Surprisingly nice waves today, fun sharing rides with Cash and Chuck. Actually for me it seems much easier to turn on a wave, I even managed to foil out of a few switch stance. Unfortunately a SW squall came through and killed it. Luckily I wasn't on my windsurfer as it would have been a long swim back. Cruised right back up to 3rd on the wing in almost no wind, the waves were glassy on the inside but there was just enough wind in the wing to keep me riding the swell back to the beach.
