Today was SW 18 with much smaller waves. 1200 cm2 front wing + 1.5° shim on rear + mast back 1cm ... forced Alton Jr (Uber Foil Taxi Service) to apply a lot of back foot pressure to keep the board horizontal.
Oddly enough my case was the opposite. I had to apply a lot of front foot pressure by forcing my torso into a forward leaning stance ... like a goose extending its neck forward.
I think I know what's happening ... my stance is too wide like a snowboarder (or sumo wrestler). Consequently, my back foot is too far back ... so my centre of gravity is too far back causing excessive lift.
Tomorrow, I'll test my hypothesis by moving the mast forward by 0.5 cm (closer to original position) and placing my back foot significantly more forward.
