Caught the ESE clocking SSE this afternoon. Starting on 8m+surfboard then got the SSE 25-30 peak on my 5m. Waves cleaned up nicely but not as nice as Wednesday's SW at White Rock.

Nice Alton!! I Started of on 4.5 89ltr but wind tanked as soon as I hit the water, frustrating, came back and rigged 5.0 99ltr, waited a bit for a rebound, ended up being just enough, and then things finally turned full on just before sunset, rain cleared and wind switched to almost full south and made for some super smooth waves and surprisingly big on the outside, felt close to head high. Squeezed out the last bit of light and sailed till 6.20.

With the winds slow to build and the nasty weeds last time I opted for the Jericho easterly and it delivered!
Nice bumps down by the east concession. Wind was a bit gusty but not too bad. Had a few brief 30 knot gusts come though as the sun set.
