As the "early bird", caught the dawn patrol "worm" at White Rock. 2 hrs in SW 20-25 on 8m+surfboard. Cleanest waves I've seen this year for some awesome frontside wave rides (waist high).

Good score! I was slow to pull the trigger and gave up in the end. Regretted it later, of course.

It was a tough call on risk-reward. A good SW is rare at WR so I took the chance and pulled the trigger. Fortunately, the models delivered the narrow 2 hrs of "reward".

FYI ... most kiters and James (winging) arrived as I left so they only got mid-teens wind.

I think you're very pleased with yourself :lol:

I was looking but for some reason did not consider White Rock :roll: . It was cranking at Harrison (big gusts) which is some distance away but maybe a clue to it being more windy on that side of Boundary Bay.
