Smart move. I was watching it with worry and sure enough it dropped and rotated east. Maybe it'll rotate back early afternoon???

Scored late afternoon to early evening on 11M kite and SB. Lowish tide but still found some fun small wave action a bit north of Centennial. There were also some show stopping clumps of weeds

Glad you made it out. Funny I noticed the weeds were quite bad at the terminal the other day. I don't think the winter was cold enough and there are still a lot around.

Wind was a bit chaotic and there were 2 different sets of swell overlapping (SE vs. E) so it was challenging conditions but still some good stuff to be had.

Almost crashed in to the Mile Marker due to the backdraft of the wind coming over it. Definitely need to give upwind obstacles a wide birth when parawinging.
