Came in aiming for Centennial to windsurf but wind dropped as arrived so hedged bet by going to 3rd to kite. Wind did come back and was solid SB and 7M kite with fun waves. Solo session for the first quite awhile before a handful of other kiters and windsurfers arrived.

Amazing wave session. Quickly joined Mike on my 8m+surfboard for early morning low tide session in SSE 20-25 gusting 30. Sweet waist high breaking waves with smoothies between under sunny sky. My favorite waves were just upwind of Centennial. Nice to see so many windsurfers out.

Pump track! Dawn patrol. Wind backed as I was driving to the beach, but rebounded some on arrival. Came close to rolling my ankle on the apples as I carried my gear to the beach. Warm wind. Sailed up off 4th and above for most of the session. Workable organised waves offering some modest ramps and some modest rides on the slack mid-tide. A touch of sunshine mid-session made for some smiles! Twin Goya sails (Massimo and Jens) match racing and trading moves! Massimo doing shove-its! Mike on kite linking turns again and again and again! Tsawwassen wishing he had gone winging! New sail day for me - 4.5 Ezzy Taka 8 (really pleased with feel and tuning range)!

Dawn patrol, sailed 5.0/89ltr, a little overpowered at times but right choice as wind felt a little up and down and shifty. Smaller but smooth waves. Good day and nice turnout!

:D (too many choices!!)

Dave - there was one run that I was trying to go downwind to be out of your way but it wasn't working so I guess I should have gone upwind.

Think you made the right choice Mike.

Actually, watching you kite made me think, I should really learn to kite, just to make things more complicated. :D

I really should have just stayed home and worked but FOMO on what I thought was going to be an epic wave session pulled me down there. I paid the price having to work until midnight then up 5:30 this morning to get things done. Finally finished now, so I hope we get a few more epic days before it gets too cold!
