They launched from the spit island. Boat/watercraft access only till the SWS season starts their ferry service.

$25 for a ferry to the spit from squamish watersports downtown till the SWS is ruining. Apparently deconstruction was supposed to go till the 15th, hopefully they can wrap up for SWS opening

Hopefully they make a good turnaround and improve parking. Are we still expected to walk during low tide? The distance is starting to get a bit too long especially for windsurfing. I need to figure things out... maybe I can float down the river as I have done sometimes or fashion a minimal cart to roll the end of my board.

They're probably going to do their shuttle boat launch over there at the sand bar near the yellow gate. It works at low tide too. You're going to be less tired than lugging your gear.

That would be fantastic and the membership so worthwhile. Woo hoo can't wait to get on the water

Latest word is that they may be operating from the blind channel while waiting for watershed to get their mess finished. No swap though

3rd Ave Bozo beach launch is permitted. The launch fee is a reasonable $575 and a chance to cross getting tased/ handcuffed from your bucket list.

On days the SWS isn't operating, the Squamish Watersports shuttle is a bit cheaper at $25. Unfortunately it doesn't include the tasing.
