Fun day at Centennial with Jens and Gleb! Solid 4.7/80L all afternoon, just a little over powered at the end. Water was cold but air temp wasn't bad. Only 3 windsurfers out today and a few kiters. Nothing epic, but a few nice waves. With the South wind I even managed to get in a few Euro top turns. Had one big jump on my first reach and landed flat, ouch. Leg was sore the rest of the session, it still hasn't healed yet.

After a morning snowboarding session in 2-4 cm of fresh at Cypress ... I headed down to 3rd Ave to score another session on 8m+surfboard in SSE 25g30. Better than expected waves for high tide. Steep breaking waves (some chest high). Called it quits after 2 hrs when I started blowing my gybes (as waves became disorganized and/or when I lost feeling in my toes).

Fun riding with Phil (5m+foil), Deb (12m+TT) and Jim (12m+TT ... how the hell did he hold it down?).

White Rock crew stayed local and braved the gusty east beach “knee murder” chop that is our SE.

Having said that, shared some good times on 9m foil, then timed it perfect to switch to the TT. I think it was a bit stronger earlier than the 3rd graph Alton posted, which is surprising.

Last night I snuck in an excellent sunset solo foil session too.

Good weekend so far, kite is still dry!
