2 good hrs alone at acadia (launched from sb concession). Somewhat op'd on 12m for 1st hour then it lightened up a bit. Nice waves upwind, nice flats inside before tide emptied it out. I found wetsuit boots beside my car at spanish banks. They must be one of 2 guys on 12m duotones at sb. PM me, if you see this, Im in downtown vancouver.

Huh?

I was at Upper Acadia with Slappy (Angus) for 2 hrs. Launched from Acadia when sandbars exposed. Fun waves in steady W 18-22 - perfect for 8m+surfboard.

Before that I launched from Locarno and cruised up to Spanish Banks for a somewhat choppy 1 hr session in W 20-25 on 8m+surfboard.

Alton, sandbars werent exposed at 10-11am when I went up there. Unless you were way upwind of acadia, I could have missed you.

Acadia sandbars were exposed at noon. Angus/Slappy was way upwind at the tower bell. I was only half way there ... happily riding the waves just upwind of the Acadia marker

Fun day yesterday! Was way over powered on the 5.0, the new 699 is fun though, fast and turny.

I was also there, same time. Great conditions for beginner learning, although I wish the tide didn't go as low, there were almost no good pools left for me at 3pm.

I was on a green slingshot raptor 8m.

Hey Marc - good to see you at Dog Beach again. Keep it up and you'll join me and Angus in the waves soon.
