20 knots at "the spit". Cold. The launch site is so close but so far away.

It looks shallow, could you rig there and walk out into the river?

Edit: I just looked at the tide table and it's 2.5M now but will be another meter higher by 4, probably not a good idea. It might work on a lower tide day though?

I’m pretty sure windsurfers have launched from close to here into river. Parking would be very limited, much of the road has one side filled with rock removed from the spit.

6 waterstarts on 12m kite + foil without porpoising (by keeping back foot forward) ... but didn't manage to stay on board ... gotta figure that one out.

Rewarded myself with 12m+surfboard session in W 15-18.

Wonderful day hanging with the Locarno Foil Tribe.
