I’m at 4th Ave, South Centennial parking is closed. Looks 3.7 but might go 4.2 first.

Comfortably powered on 5m+surfboard in SSE 30... but I need to thaw my fingers.

Most on 7m. Some on 9m.

Epic session to start 2022. SSE 30-35 g 40 with big breaking waves for super sweet wave rides. Outbound sharp A-shaped waves made staying on a strapless surfboard tricky ... but my cute little 5m kite made for a comfy ride even in the crazy gusts.

Had to cut my session a little short when my board leash broke ... wanted to quit while I was ahead instead of losing my favorite surfboard on a big day.

The chill was hard on the hands but well worth it to say Happy New Year in person to all the hard core kiters and windsurfers.

Good 1st session to start off 2022! Short but sweet session at the boat launch. Rigged 4.2 instead of 3.7 and took out the 73L. Nicely powered for the first 20 mins but overpowered after that. Nice waves for jumping and riding and managed to ride a few head high sets at the 2nd bank. Hands were the weak point today but everything else was working surprisingly well after a 6 month hiatus. Hope Lubo and Igor + 1 other had a decent session.

Glad you made it out Darrel! Sorry I missed you. Probably the coldest day I've sailed, not the air temp but the water was brutal. Some really nice waves with extra steep ramps today but too cold to really enjoy it and didn't really feel like taking too many risks.
Still got a few nice rides though, nice to see everyone at the beach! Happy New Year to all!!

Hope things warm up soon.
