Mixed models suggest a chance for a SE this afternoon. Fingers crossed. It might be a cold one.

Can’t you just drift launch easily at Comox Spit as it’s off shore wind.

I thought about it and my self landing if I had too but I also had this itchy feeling the wind will not stay and didn’t want to end up off shore. The wind just dropped to nada 30 mins later. Good call AJ

After a snowboarding session at Cypress, just scored an hour session before dark at the Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal with Ramil in S 18-20 on 8m+surfboard. Nice knee high rollers. Balmy 8°C.

Great way to end the year?

Another great day on a water.
Launched at the 3d Ave. There was wingfoiler mostly sloging. When I was about to launch wind dropped, swim back, was so disappointed but 15min later it was 15kn. Went out on 9m and foil 30m later it was 25kn and too much, changed to tt. Good one hour on tt with lots of high jumps. When wind started to go down switched to foil again.
Almost sameas yesterday just on 9m instead of 7m. Getting better riding swell downwind and so much fun, don't need to struggle to go back upwind.
When I finished at 2pm, 3 other kiters went out. I was the only one on a water like week ago.

Oh Dmitry - that was you on the water at 3rd Ave. I thought there was too much south ... so I moved to the Ferry Terminal ... much more steady there.

I was almost ready to relocate to Tsawwassen ferry terminal, but wind came back.
Nest time will go there when it's S. It supposed to be SE.
