At 1:45, the wind filled in. Full steady power on 4.7. Around 25 knots. Water was smoother than the usual Locarno chop. 2' swell. Sunshine too.

Acadia worked out great, full powered up on 5.0, no debris left. launched at 10.45, could see Michael on the wing further down wind, richard only other windsurfer there and Mike joined later, nice waves for lots of good turns early on but turned more mushy and disorganized with the higher tide and called it a little before 2. Very comfortable with the temperature and could use bare hands

Yep, like Jen said. For me it was full throttle 4.5 starting at noon. This made staying upwind ok even with riding downwind on the waves and incoming tide. Some really nice waves but some were littered with chop

Fun session at Locarno too. Bit overpowered on 5.0 but allowed me to stay way upwind where the waves were better. Wind shadow at the beach wasn’t a problem with my big board, although the board was a handful at times out in the swell. Thankfully, very little chop (just close-spaced waves).
Felt great to be out playing in the sun after weeks of monsoons!

Great day today. Took half day off. Came at 8am but started at 9am on 7m and kite foil, way overpowered . Had meeting at 10am and went back again on foil and then twintip. Later switched to 5m and foil. Wind was strong probably 28kn in a middle. Big swell, I could even hear when waves were breaking. Lots of downwind swell rides from Spanish banks down to Locarno pier and back for repeat. Stayed down for lighter wind.
Struggled to get out from beach and come back on 5m, due to light wind at shore.
Had hard time to control foil today on gusty and strong wind with big swell. Bar all the way out and I feel that foil keep rising up and up, next wave and I foiled out. On a downwind waves are strong and I was going too fast downwind and kite was stalling down, next I bring kite up it powers up and yanks me off few meters.

I should of brought my windsurfing today it was 4.2 day on my 86l.

What a day everyone, sorry you missed it Alton! Was fully powered with ample swell in the afternoon! Took a 3.5 wing out at Acadia and then punched up to wreck beach for some fun swell riding. Got washed in by some shorepound getting a little greedy on one wave but managed to launch again from center of the beach where it's a bit deeper. Longest rides though were along the towers where the swell rounds the corner coming back to Acadia.

Nice day at Acadia but I found it really cold and should have taken some gloves!! Was way over powered on the 5.0 wing but managed to hold on and score a few nice wave rides while staying in control. The rest of time it was carnage, but fun carnage! Got an unintentional off the lip with the foil today, well the foil decided to got for it leaving me behind. Tried out my new camera, finally, yes today I remembered to put the SD card in.

Stopped at Acadia after I finished to update Dave while I took a few shots of Mike and Jens. Sorry but my phone camera does not zoom well. It was good to see Jonathan as he was heading out, glad you had a good session, the 3.5 looked perfect, I need to get one!

Thanks for taking the photos Michael. I was wondering where you and some of the other "usual suspects" were.

Thanks for the pics Michael, cool angle, how does that 360 cam with extension arm feel on the helmet?
