Things felt better today but weeds made for a few nice wipeouts! Got a few nice rides, catching waves toe side is super fun! Looking forward to windsurfing tomorrow though!

Andrew - Most models are suggesting that there will be some wind left if you arrive at 12. Of course, you'll miss the good stuff. Remember to bring your surfboard so you can finally use it for what it's meant for ... WAVES!!!

To get there drive to Tsawwassen (Hwy 17 to 56 th St) then take 12 th Ave to Boundary Bay Road all the way to the end of 3rd Avenue. You'll find plenty of kiters there on a weekend to launch you.

What time is everyone heading to BB today (Saturday)? Mike is probably already there :D The tide is very low at 8am.

I would have been there if it was cranking, but it's not, yet?... It's been a long time for me for a good old fashion windsurf session so that's what I'm hoping for in spite of low tide. Wind meters are saying I'd kite as of present. Wind models are mixed for the timing of the best wind now. So I'm taking my time with breakfast and hoping to see a sustained lift in the wind before I go. Combine this with my impatience and I'll be there no later than mid morning (8 or 9) to hedge my bet. All subject to change of course (wind can be fickle!)

Don't drink too much ... otherwise, you'll need to pee in your wetsuit

Gave it a go at Long Beach Friday afternoon but the wind was just too light to manage while getting pushed around by the waves.
