Many thanks to Benito for luring me into joining him at Dog Beach and Acadia. Convinced it was a write off, Chuck and I enjoyed brewskis watching kiters struggle at Dog Beach. Once Benito finally got going, I quickly joined him before sunset under the influence.

Over 1 hr session in W 18-20 on 12m+surfboard session as the sun set and into the dark under a bright half moon. Made my way from Dog Beach to Acadia to enjoy small knee high waves under the moonlight. Got off the water with Benito at 9:10pm with a tricky self-landing at Doug Beach with gusty wind.

Very fun sunset session last night. Wind came, then went, then came, then went, then came for good. Wind was solid, well powered on my 12m. Nice kickers and good wind/wave angle. Lots of patches of smooth water to be had too, even though it was blowing 18 knots. Beautiful evening, felt like summer. 2:20 on the water, but two 10-15 minute breaks when the wind died off.

My god, i thought Angus got lost in the dark going toward the freighters! Wind was too strong to handle on my 12m around 20:50 , wind keep power lifted up me as i was coming toward shore, got very scared by not been able to depower enough . but I made it back at dog beach, crying a little ha ha. Kiting or surfing, sunset sessions are always my favorites...
Now, a close to full moon session at English Bay in a steady wind would be super exciting!

Hell ya, that was a great session. Just kinda magical being out there in those conditions, I didn't want to go in.
