Wind just kicked at JSC, looks like perfect light wind conditions. Hope it holds for a while as I make excuses to leave work

While there will be a thermal kick drawing the NW in from the straight I don't think they'll be full thermals. Lots of NW in the straight all week.

So that means a good week for more than just foiling.

I was underpowered this afternoon on 12m+surfboard in WNW 12-15 ... so for 0.5 hrs I would ride out, gybe, ride back, walk back upwind ... repeat ...

Otherwise, it was fun hanging with the Locarno gang ... mainly wing foilers and kite foilers.

A little stronger at the ferry terminal at the start, maybe 15g20 and then it gradually dropped off to about 10 to12 when I packed it in around 5. Still about 3 hours on the water with Dan and a few other wingers and a kite foil. Nice and warm, finally!

Any rideable wind expected anywhere today?

Howe Sound outflows look good this morning and tomorrow morning. I may try windsurfing at Porteau or Furry Creek tomorrow morning, if anyone else is interested.
I don’t think either launch is suitable for kiting, btw. Too many barnacles at Porteau and shoreline obstacles at Furry Cr. Both are okay for wings and windsurfers though.

Depends what kind of wind you need. I'm sure you'll get somewhere between 10-20 knots at Spanish Banks today. Probably in the 12-16 range. Looks like similar tomorrow as well.

Wed-Sat look pretty good for Squamish too.

Looks like a steady 23-25 kts at Pam Rocks all morning today.

I'm considering going tomorrow at sunrise, park at the hotel in Furry Creek, launch off the public dock (windsurfing). See you there, maybe!

Whitecaps all through English Bay right now. Feels like 11 knots on Kits Beach.
