Is there anywhere to go where the wind maybe a little lighter? White rock is showing lighter winds but it's SSE, not sure if there's anywhere to kite in white rock on that direction...

Any recommendations?

Yes, that was fun. Mike and I got the early bird session on 5.0/95 litre from 8 - 1015 am. Had one break during an early lull but otherwise rigged just right. Definitely overpowered when I came in at the end though.
Waves seemed nicest around 9-930 am then it got a bit choppy. Still nice swells if you looked for them.
Great way to start the day, and home for lunch; how civilized! :)

Scored another hour on 5m in SSE 30. Waves were smaller this time.

What's next? White Rock or Acadia?

I made the wrong gear selection at BB this morning. Headed out with a 5.0 and 115 L freeride. After 10 min of walking out I started to get the feeling that the wind was picking up. Eventually got to deep water and my first reach out was ok. By the time I was coming back, I couldn't sheet in at all, I needed my 4.2. I'm not the strongest person in the world and the walk back to the shore was pretty tiring. I opted to not rig-down and hike out again, kudos to Mike for giving it another go.

I may head back to the FT once it turns NW, I'd like to get some flat water to practice jibing. Depends on my energy level and how much wind there is.
