That was awesome! One of the best wave sessions, wind and waves at perfect angle to ride both in and out. Best from around noon to past 1PM, wind picked up and so did the waves. Ebbing tide was around 3-2.5 meters at that time. Lots of smiles.

Yeah, that WAS fun! Worked pretty hard to keep going on 5.0/110 for much of the morning, but just before noon it all paid off. Super nice waves on the outside as the tide dropped. Stayed on the big board to avoid a long walk in and back out. Quite a workout riding waves on the 110 but so glad I got 45 mins of the fun before I was spent.
Great last day of winter :) :)

[quote="Michael". Like Chuck said, Unicorns everywhere! Stoke levels were high with lots of smiles on the beach, classic spring Boundary Bay![/quote]

Ya budday!

What a phenomenal day, killer rides, high 5’s and bro-downs on the multiple party waves!
Fun fun fun

Found a nice line between the 2nd and 3rd banks slightly upwind of CNL this morning. Was blessed with a few multiple turn waves. Everything was dialed in on the 5.3 and 101L which seemed odd as I hadn't sailed in a month. Nice to get out.

Got some leftovers today, only made it on the water around 1.30, tide was low at this point so went to boat launch, at first I couldn't get going on 5.0/89ltr, but then went further out and it was more windy, sailed till a little after 3. A few waves left here and there but also got more and more choppy at this point.

Odd couple. Chilly at first - hopefully that is the last of Marchuary. Warmer once the sun came out. Nice clean, organized rolling swell on the outside early on that built to a peak just in time for the wind to lull, then the wind built as the swell melted away. The two seemed to be listening to Dr Henry and keeping their distance. Somehow its the swell that 'got away' that seem to haunt you. Still fun - sunshine, rides and even a few gingerly jumps. Vitamin D was a bonus.
