Wind looks like it's screamin' at Jericho, loads of sand spray on the beach. Shame about the high tides. Mind you with 1.2m waves in the Straight sea conditions are probably pretty good despite the tide.

Attempted Jericho. Found it too challenging between the chop and screaming wind. 3.7 84 L was too much. I didn’t think to pack my 72L when I left for work this morning. One goal for 2021 is to improve enough, and hopefully get one smaller sail, so that I can take advantage of days like today.

Awesome day on 7m+surfboard at Dog Beach. Third on the water following James and Sam also on their 7m+surfboards. Chop at Spanish Banks was very civilized compared to Tuesday so it was easy to beat up the Dog Beach. Smooth waist high breaking waves near the shore. Sweet chest high breaking waves outside. 7m was perfect with full depower for 2 hrs in steady WNW 25-30 then returned Spanish Banks after chop started to develop. Big turn out in the late afternoon.

Got an hour and half overpowered on the 3.7 before it ramped up and we were blown off the water. Pretty choppy and pretty cold on the hands as expected. Some nice wave sections to be found. Nice to be out getting some vitamin D.

Test. Gingerly tested out the healing knees. Opted to keep the board on the water and not cave into the temptation of hitting the sweet ramps on offer, but did enjoy a few banked outside turns, some backside rides, and even a few frontside single hits. Lots of stoke on and off the water and two post-session functioning knees was the bonus!

Great to see Dave back on the water. Nice shot of Gleb Dave! White Rock delivered, finally, it's been a long time since I've had a session like that. The winging has been fun but windsurfing is awesome! Super fun day, no back loops, just good fun. Lots of big ramps and some killer waves out by the border marker, biggest waves I've seen at White Rock for years. 4.3/80l was perfect most of the time. Felt super rusty at first and had a slow start. By the time I rigged my 5.3 it was way too much, had one reach of total survival sailing. Rigged down to the 4.3 and grabbed the small board but didn't realize my centre fin was missing. Took it out to store the board when that cold snap happened as I didn't want it sitting in my van in minus 10 degrees. That was a fun reach with just the trusters, I was all over the place. Finally hit the water and it was all fun after that.

White Rock report - like Dave and Michael said.

Actually worked out well that morning wind failed as temperature improved.

Was on 4.5 for around 1.5 hours. Then got to try new sail which was sweet. The 3.7 was perfect when the wind was really on - which it was for times but then wind "backed off" and was, overall not quite enough.

Nice "buzz" at the end of a full windsurf style workout.

Good to get on the water in the sunshine. I guess the high water makes for choppier conditions, it was a real work out. Sunshine on the water sailing in, didn't see branch until too late, sent me flying. Fortunately no damage with power box, would have knocked a US box out of slot.
