7am to 10:30 am. Iona beach will have ~25 knot winds, tide over 14 ft, great for shoulder high swell rolling in from the strait, great for jumps; deep enough for windsurfing as well .

I would rather ride at Jericho than Iona. Forecast is changing but still looking good.

Maybe we'll finally get the White Rock westerly I've been dreaming about for years.

Jeff/Tweegster - White Rock tide is 3.5m Sunday afternoon. Is 3.5m shallow and beginner friendly? I'm considering taking my favourite daughter but only if it's beginner safe.

Mark/Roxstock - How accurate is the WindAlert sensor for White Rock?

I think it's fairly accurate but I'm sure tweegster will be posting OSRs if it's windy.

3.5 is totally fine, below waist deep about everywhere. There should be some sand bars showing. 3.7 they are disappearing, but still shallow.

NW will usually wrap into WR, but loose power compared to the straight. I don't there will be much thermal heating to add to the wind. Waves usually below knee high. Looks like a great forecast.

How's Jericho looking? I am going to get to use my new surfboard for the first time so I don't want to go to the terminal because I don't want flat water.

Thanks Jeff and Mark. This is what I want to hear. If Acadia and YVR nuke Sunday afternoon then WR is the place to be. Fingers crossed.
