I opted to stay on the N Shore today, at Cates Park practicing my windfoiling. First session started with perfect 4.5 conditions but dropped after 20 minutes. That wasn’t enough for all the effort, so I hung around in hope of a comeback…which it did!!
Igor and I headed out at about 1 pm and had an excellent hour+ before it got too strong. When I came back in Rob M and others were heading out on their racefoil gear with 6m sails, confirming that the wind was kickin’.
Really fun afternoon in strong wind and 12c sun. I think 10-12c is my foiling temperature threshold until I am better (ie stay drier)! Off to Baja soon to spoil myself.
