Yes, you might have to walk out a bit but doable. Wind just kicked.

Pleasantly surprised Boundary Bay deliver better than most models forecasted. Started at noon overpowered on 9m+surfboard in SSE 25g30 and seriously considered downsizing to 7m. Persevered and glad 9m was the right choice. Waves slightly disorganized so had to hunt around for some clean waves ... plenty to be found outside for fun toeside rides. A couple of breaking waves took me out.

Over 2 hrs TOW then called it quits when wind clocked ESE. Big Thanksgiving turn out. Nice to get home early to pull the turkey out of the oven.

Flock. Thankful for Tsawwassen's heads up text. This one just mushroomed up. Arrived to find more wind that expected and rigged 4.5/92. A bit up and down but worked for a while. Then rigged big gear (5.3/116) to milk the east wind with Johnny. Glad Heather made a cameo. Sorry Tsawwassen gave his 102 a 'nose job' ~ flock of windsurfers on the water and flock of ducks in the air migrating south. Saw three kites come in at Centennial and retrieved two kite boards from the water.

No problem, I'm glad it turned out as good as it did. Waves didn't last long but I did manage to get a few rides. Sad I smashed the nose on my 102 again! You would think I'd learn to calm down when there is wind but no, I see the sensor jump up and totally panic. First I forgot my camera, but no turning back, then got to the beach and realized I forgot my harness. Raced home got my camera and harness, rigged but forgot to change my camera settings so all my footage was useless. Then smashed the nose on my board in a lull doing nothing but not paying attention. At least I got home in time to cook dinner. :D

When the SE ripped through it brought some decent waves with it but they were short lived as the tide came in and the wind backed off.

Sorry to leave you hanging bro!

Well because I'm as disorganized and forgetful when shopping as windsurfing... I went from Cornish Hen Veronique to deboned chicken, deboning a chicken after few hours of windsurfing is a really bad idea, with blueberry lemon sage stuffing and a mushroom bordelaise sauce. Try to find a game hen in Tsawwassen, and I forgot the grapes. Didn't really feel like peeling them anyways so that might have been deliberate. Plus spaghetti squash, honey yams, brussel sprouts, carrots and creamy nutmeg mash. I also forgot to make the chocolate gelato, to busy checking windguru and refreshing the iwindsurf sensor, so we had pumpkin pie, no I didn't make that.
