Would love to see the stats of wind / kite / wing foilers. They probably get the most days on the water.

I'm sitting at 54 this year which is a very good year compared to all my years (maybe a record) and blows away my more recent years. I think foiling has helped Abit for session count but I'm just starting to work the low winds. I think it's where it could help is during the times of year when wind is light and less often. My sessions consist of windsurf (freestyle, regular B&J and foil) and kite (surfboard, twintip and foil). I try to use the best tool for the conditions. I dropped kite foil as I just wasn't putting the time to it to develop (4 sessions on last 2 years)

One of the reasons I bought a windfoil this past June was to get more time on water by going out in lower winds. Since June I've sailed in the Howe Sound except for two times at Jericho. All of this sailing was in winds 16 knots or more except for one day at Jericho which was lower wind. In other words, I've only seen one day that was too low wind for my 115 L freeride board but enough for my 1500 cm2 windfoil. So far I don't see the windfoil extending my TOW but I'm sure that will change over time and seasons.

Kitesurfing 80 % of the time
Windsurfing 19 % of the time
On the spit 1% of the time

Got out more this summer than any previous. Think my motivation for foiling is way higher especially in the nexen chop knowing that I can rig my smallest sail almost every day. Went from maybe 70% of TOW planing on fins to probably 99% on the foil most sessions with way less fatigue.

I haven't been counting myself, but I know when you're there I'm there plus at the Spit/Nexen add ~15 days for me during early spring (March-May). We get windy days during this period that is very localized even when GFS says outflow.
