Sweet video Jonathan, I noticed you have some foam foot platforms on the rear of the board. Is that to get extra leverage gybing or just a comfort thing while sailing? Good idea, I may do the same. Cheers, rich

Thanks Richi, Adam put those on before I bought it. Yeah, mainly for the riding positions with the foil standing more outward on the board. I think I only need them when pointing upwind, or getting up onto the foil in lighter conditions. When cruising or gybing my back foot is usually centered or on the downwind side of the board.

Repeat of Monday ... but even stronger. SW 24-28 on 7m+TT then surfboard in butter smooth river for 3 hrs.

Thought I'd take a chance today and went for some sun and cloud. Probably scored the best 2 hours of the day in gusty SW 20-30 on 7m+surfboard on the butter smooth river water. Super fun cranking turns with 4 other guys on their surfboards.

Like yesterday took a chance and enjoyed over 2hrs in gusty SW 20-30 on 7m first on twin tip then on surfboard. Many boosting big air including Cash, Will and Mateo.

Too lazy to pump my 12m so rigged too small - 9m+surfboard. Started light SW 16 so I was confined to the river with crazy ass voodoo chop. What the heck happened to that butter smooth water earlier this week????

After the first 1.5 hrs the wind finally picked up to SW 22 but just as choppy in the river mouth. Argh! Called it a day after 3 hr TOW since I couldn't take the pounding any longer.

Good news. I resurrected by North Bar where outside lines were cut a few week ago. Transplanted some lines from a vintage bar but had to add line extensions to make the outside lines match the inside lines (plus Y-split). It was a perfect match (no trimming required). However, the longer lines seem less responsive so I have mixed feelings. I'll probably try them with a bigger kite (12m) tomorrow (Sunday) to see how I feel about longer lines.

Tried out my resurrected North bar (27m lines including extensions) with 12m (+ both TT and surfboard) in SW 18-22 ... WHAT A BORING RIDE!!! Spongy delayed response is not worth it for the extra power.

Later switched to 9m+TT with smaller Airush bar and shorter lines ... WAY MORE FUN!!!

Total TOW = over 3 hrs

I'm gonna to remove the North bar extensions and cut the power lines to match ... cannot stand the long lines.

Excellent day (with one exception) at the Spit SW 20-25. Started on 9m+TT in boosting heaven ... UNTIL a kite panel tore from leading edge to trail edge. Self-rescued, cleaned up my lines then went for an amazing 7m+surfboard session in the river. Dialed in with beautifully formed swell for fun toeside hits.

Dropped off 9m kite at Dennis' garage (North Sail) on my way home.
