I have some type of crack near the nose of my board. It certainly doesn't seem like it's at all structural, but it's kind of hard for me to tell. 3 options are:
a) leave it
b) buff with 220 grit and put on some type of topcoat with UV inhibitor
c) sand down and reinforce with a bit of glass + epoxy, then some type of topcoat with UV inhibitor
Any suggestions on a, b or c?
If I go with b or c, what kind of topcoat would I use? I've done a lot of fiberglass and epoxy work on wooden boats and I used a 2 part water soluable polyurethane. I could also go with simple outdoor/var urethane.
