Let's talk about foiling

I found the thing I like about foiling is you can sail easily in gusty conditions,like the event site and sailing at Jericho is fun again.

That is a 5.7 revolution and 160 slingshot levitator and i76 wing. I have 5.3 7.0 and 8.2 flyers,super light and powerful sails.The cams help with early planing and pumping. Have you seen anyone windfoiling at Centennial,maybe Tsawassen would be deeper?

In tried Centennial last summer with a 60cm mast. I eventually waded out deep enough after 15min on a reasonably high tide but the wind died and the weeds were messing with the foil

Thanks John, I'd like to get bigger board for the lake in the summer, maybe a 140L and a 7.0 Flyer. I've seen a few kiters foil out there, I think Cash was trying it out a while back. I'm going to try it out in the spring. Like Dallas said you would have to walk out a ways. Dallas if you want to try again let me know, definitely when things warn up there are some nice light wind days in the spring and maybe the weeds won't be as bad early April?

Sounds good. I think Point Roberts has potential too..I had some super fun sessions at Jericho too!

Centennial can be great for windfoiling southeasterlies when the tides are right and the weeds are gone. It was my go-to spot for easterly windsurfing and kiting in winters past. For me though, being closer to Jericho I have learned it is very nice on easterlies launching from the East end of the JSC. While these easterlies are almost always lighter than Centennial, that can be a good thing when foiling. Additionally I don't have to ever check the tides, worry about tunnel traffic or weeds. It has become my year round spot. The easterlies can be as steady any decent westerlies, this was a surprise to me at first.

That looks like 1299 Euros not dollars to me, which would make more sense. I have always liked Exocet’s windsurfing boards. I wonder if anyone will bring these into N America?
