Just spent 90 min learning to slog my new board at Acadia. Also managed to plane a few times. It was glorious coming out of the shadow and into the morning sun, it was worth it just for that. Even with low wind speed I’m finding the 6.5 to be a handful. Exhausting to clear it from the water and pretty heavy while slogging. I need better conditioning and should post a wanted ad for a 5.5. All in all, good times.

Managed to get 1hour TOW at SB on 12 to 15 knots SW low tide. Virtually no wind at the shore and pretty steady offshore.

Just looked at the White Rock Pier Cam and noticed a few kites out. Maybe I should have gone. :(

WR was great this morning, got on the water at 7:45 and off at 11. Wind stuck around much longer and stronger than I expected.

I was on 10m and 1200cm foil, then switched and stayed on 6m when I got a bit OP midway thru. Foils are amazing, I was still able to ride upwind even when the 12m and 13m TTers were going off.

Fun in the sun, waves were best early. There was a huge pack of seals, including a bunch of pups. Little chilly, maybe time to dig out my gloves... for wednesday?
