Thanks for posting Tony, that was super fun to watch! The conditions were challenging making for some nasty crashes and lots of people ended up on the rocks. You could see how frustrated Levi and Marcillio Brown were. Bernd and Antione Martin sailed really well!

watching the heavy-soiled washing cycle of a wave, after a wipeout, with a 75-liter board+ mast+boom... it makes me doubt the fun factor of the sport. After a few full-on wipeouts, your gear is bound to make irreparable damage... being a small guy has its advantages.

This thread is about the Aloha Classic, a premier professional wave event. One purpose of world cup events is to showcase the best of the best. These are not recreational windsurfers cruising around just to have fun.

This year, only pros and youths were entered. There were no amateurs and masters.
