Scored almost 2 hrs at Acadia (launched from Dog Beach). Mostly overpowered in W 25-28 on 9m+surfboard. 1 hour of clean waist to chest high waves before becoming disorganized and gusty.

Didn’t have my small board with me so I opted for Locarno over Acadia. Had an excellent 1-1/2 hours on 5.0/110 litres from about 10-1130, then the cloud bank rolled in and the wind tanked.
Lots of fun upwind and out by the freighters- even some nice waves to play on!

I timed it just right, got on the water just as the wind died. :( Slogged out and thought I was in for a long swim back, but when I fell in I realized I could touch bottom and walk back to the beach. :D Forgot how shallow it stays when the tide is low. Might have been some divine intervention going on today as when I went to de-rig I noticed this.

Another sunny windy NW at Tofino. Not as strong as I anticipated but enough (15-18 knots) to get out and ride the surf. SE coming the in next few days -- not sure how that works, but I'll give it a try.
