Thinking about going a week to Nitinat Lake and another week to Lake Wenatchee.

Been once many years ago. It is a summer thermal place driven by the same weather pattern as the Gorge. I think iWindsurf has a sensor and forecast for it in the summer. The campground is very nice but it’s at the end of the lake with an onshore wind, so the better launch is a couple km up the lakeshore road. Wind strength is enough for windsurfing but not for small gear- more like Harrison lake i would say. I’ve found some discussions about sailing there by googling it, if you want more info.
I would consider trying the place again if I happened to be in the area but I think Nitinat or the Gorge are better bets.
Ps - the campsite was very buggy in July when we were there.

Been a couple of dozen times. Hard to predict even on the day of.
I'd go to the eastern Gorge instead.
