Na, the Squamish thermals go until the fist week of October.

Day 37 - Late start at 2:30pm - some actually left before wind arrived. Scored 1.5 hrs in SW 18-24 on 12m. Overpowered in the river and upwind so had to hunt around for less wind.

Day 38 - A day of epic bullshit !!! Gusty SW 13 - 27.

0.5 hrs on 7m+surfboard out of control in the gusts followed by self-rescue down the Spit Road.

1.5 hrs on 9m+surfboard before kite fell out of the sky in a lull - lost so much ground forcing me to self-rescue and walking the estuary.

My apologies if I mislead anyone today.

That pretty much sums it up Alton. One of my worst days windsurfing in a long time. Took me 4 hours to drive from Tsawwassen to Squamish with all the traffic issues only to slog around for 2 hours in the worst wind. Still nice to see everyone, it's been a while but wish we could have had a better day! Hope we get a Boundary Bay session soon!

Yeah, don't know if I've been in gustier conditions. My kite dropped like a fly in one lull right into the powerzone as a gust whipped through and snapped 3 of my lines plus my spreader bar! Thankfully kite just flapped around a bit on one line and seems to be alright.
