Looks like will have to wait Tuesday... I'm curious about upper side of Ambleside on SE, anyone tried? weird currents? or area too small to ride?

Ambleside does not get rideable wind on a SE as the wind is coming over Downtown and Stanley Park.

Ambleside is only good to ride in W , WSW , SW winds as the wind will come in from the ocean to the beach. Even to much South and the wind can get really funky coming over the West End.

There were a few kites out in Boundary Bay around 3, looks like some are still out now.
Nice shallow water when I was there, I think the wind has backed off a bit now though.

Scored the last shift (4-5pm) in gusty SSE 16-22 on 12m+surfboard along with Francis, Slappy and a couple of others.
