Looking for a power plate for my foil, does anyone use one on a power box? Does it work well?

My only experience was with a regular Tuttle box Power Plate and it was fantastic. I wouldnt't hesitate to use it with a Powerbox board at all. I used a leash with mine just to be safe, but never needed it in the 20+ sessions I got on it before moving too a shorter dedicated foil board.

Just an option:
I ordered from Windance with a Powerplate, Pedestal, 2 hex screws and two mast loops. They gave me a 10% discount. Free shipping to Point Robers. I used the Shell shipping station in Point Roberts https://pointrobertsshellcenter.com/shipping-station/

For Memorial day Windance was offering 15% off. Maybe they have the same discount for July 4th.

Went to PR for pickup and also got a tank of gas. I declared 250 USD at the border and I was waived thru so no tax.

Michael,

What foil are you going to be using with the PowerPlate? I just ask because the bolts that came with mine to attach the foil's base plate to the PowerPlate were intended for a Slingy foil base plate, and I used a Foil Works that despite being a Slingy clone, is slightly thinner. The result was that the bolts put some dimples on my board base. I spoke to Dave at Windance about it and he set me up with some slightly shorter bolts. It's just something to think about to keep your board base looking good. Good luck!

I wish windance would get their foil manufacturer to just produce a direct fit powerbox head for the foilworks/slingshot mast. NP is doing it after all and I know I've passed up a few PB boards rather than deal with converting them or using the plate system.
