I've had a chance to do both, but have yet to be led down the garden path on either route in terms of purchasing gear.

Might want to consider a foil SUP and wing as another option that helps get around our shitty launch options in the summer.

Personally I'd rather take a 8m Peak 4 on short lines and water launch it (if I had a SUP for my foil).

That way you still get the foil SUP to surf with and could even do a crossover board that you could ride without the foil. And it would only be 7 feet long so it could be stored upright against a wall.

I'm very happy with my NP Glide Surf foil, very cost effective and versatile.

I'd like to try the Glyde windfoil. Especially if power boxes can hold up in the long term that opens up a lot of multi-purpose boards with a potential to reduce quiver sizes.

Hi John, is that the position where the fuse joins through the wing itself? I keep hearing these A,B,C positions mentioned in forum discussions, but have never seen them defined. I run my wings in the middle of the three positions, so B I guess, but often moumt the entire foil assembly far forward on the PowerPlate.

Yes A is with the mast through the front wing like on a kitefoil. I use the middle B position as well.

Ah okay, I've only kitefoiled with the H2 wing in that position. Are you thinking of moving it to A to reduce your 76's lift in higher winds?

Yes that's it, I have the mast base all the way forward and foil all the way back. But I was still foiling out. I was able to water start so probably too big of a sail.

I run the wing full forward, but I'm using the H2 on a non foil specific board.

Thanks Grant have you used the m10 threaded inserts for the tuttle head? I would need longer bolts for my other board .

I tried and broke the inserts. They are titanium which is strong but brittle. I definitely wouldn't use them to extend the reach of your screws, that's what I tried and ended up losing the foil. Fortunately in a place I could find it again.

The m10 threads ended up quite damaged so I machined the tuttle head to take standard 13mm inserts.
