PR was good yesterday for 2.5 hours of small surf. 1230-3pm

Next ....Tuesday or Wednesday. NW at WB. Time, can't say except 3 hours before it happens and dependant on tide.

Strange tale of two who sailed a small catamaran up from Seattle on Saturday aiming for PR but got beached at JR. Saw them right it in the surf when I arrived. Odd. Hope they made it back to Seattle.

Image
JR was big and started to get dumpy with long sections closing out at sewers and the river mouth was four lines of white water at times so kept driving to PR.

It was small on arrival and I just about didn't paddle out but it kicked up a notch or two while we were out there. There were some large A-frames rolling through. Small friendly group. There were some long rides to be had on open faces. It was all lefts, but even I had fun (and I don't like lefts).

that's great! enjoy.

We had surf 2 days ago at WB, Saturday morning. My time was 815-1145. By then the low tide was no good for surf.

Adam was there since 6am left at 930am. HB 0.8m with local wind, felt like 1m.
I had 9:30-1130am a surf break at the far buoy; some were waist high, lots of fun, sunny. I was alone, and I must say those sessions I enjoy the most; I can grab any wave, do whatever is needed, etc. Those local sessions are worth the drive. Sorry for the delay, but there is lots of info in this thread to know when it's on.
