4 hour session started from 12 until 4pm. The wind was steady NE averaging ~17 knots with clear skies

Windguru's forecast coupled with EC was pretty banged on. Temp was ~10 deg celcius but with the sun I was sweating.

Anyone heading out to Green Lake this weekend? Where's a good spot to park and launch from?

I’m heading on Saturday. Snow on Friday which will make the surface softer for Saturday. You park by viewpoint . Better to share a ride as very limited space if more than a handful of people shows up. You rig and launch right on the lake.

Very hard to miss it. On hwy 99 on your right side when you’re heading northward. Google Green lake whistler. I’ll be there 10am

Bluebird sky with 8 kiters out

Wind is crazier than last time I was here. Goes from nada to 25 . Got airborne unexpectedly with gust of maybe 35 knots seem to appear from nowhere. Helmet saved me twice now. Can't underestimate this soft and still looking lake when you land the wrong way
